Missing football at Banbury United already? Don’t worry, it’s only seven weeks until pre-season, and as of today, you’re able to renew your membership, buy a season ticket and prepare for the season ahead.

“We want to attract as many people as possible to enjoy the special atmosphere at Banbury United next season,” says Wayne Farrell, Chairman of Banbury United FC. “We’ve been forensically analysing matchday income and tweaking pricing with the aim of increasing revenue and delivering value where it matters to as many as possible within our community. While there are a few tactical price increases, we’ve tried to give something in return so that casual spectators, members and season ticket holders all benefit. The £2 reduction in member matchday ticket prices compared to last season is one such benefit.

“Adult matchday entry for 2025-26 will be £13, £1 cheaper than last season, and only £11 for members. We hope this will encourage more people to attend matches regularly. We can’t wait to welcome you all back to the Spencer Stadium, powered by egg for Banbury United’s campaign in the Southern League Premier Central,” concluded Wayne Farrell.

The Club will announce ticket pricing for the pre-season friendlies, shortly.

2025-26 match ticket prices

We are reducing adult matchday ticket prices this coming season, as follows:

Adult: £13 or £11 with membership card
Concessions (including students): £11 or £9 with membership card
Under 18s: £9 or £7 with membership card
Banbury United Youth players: free with Youth Player season ticket
Under 11s: free

Segregated matches

To help cover the security costs associated with the small number of segregated matches, ticket prices will increase by £2 across all age categories for these fixtures. Segregation will only be utilised where we believe there is a risk to fan safety and those matches will be announced in advance. Season ticket holders will not be affected.

2025-26 season ticket prices

As per match ticket prices, adult season tickets are even more affordable this season. Across all age categories, a season ticket grants a 15% to 22% discount on full or member match ticket prices when attending all 21 home league matches.

As a heartfelt thank you to those who purchase season tickets before the Early Bird deadline of July 12th, entry to all our pre-season home matches will be free (as this will be before cards are issued, we’ll check your name on the gate).

School season tickets

The Club will continue to offer every local primary school a transferable family season ticket, intended for rotated distribution among their school community as they see fit. Please send any queries to communitycoach@banburyunitedfc.co.uk.

Club membership: 2025-26

Existing members

2024/25 season members are invited to renew their membership by following this link to buy online or this link to download and print a hard copy form. Remember to do this by July 12th if you are also buying a season ticket, to get the Early Bird season ticket price.

The cost of Club membership has increased slightly to £25 due to the well-documented shortfall in revenue faced by the Club and our primary objective to protect the player budget.

We are offering members who can afford to so, the opportunity to donate a further £15 as way to give a little more to the Club (see donation option on the membership purchase page on the website). Every penny is put to good use and we are most grateful to anyone who can consider giving a little more.

Banbury United Youth Player members

Membership is open to all who register to a Banbury United Youth team in 2025-26. As part of their £10 membership, players will receive a non-transferrable season ticket that will give them free entry to all league games. Youth membership does not include the benefits of full Club membership, nor voting rights. This membership will go on sale at a later date, but before the start of the league season, to tie up with player registration timings. Look out for a separate announcement to follow in due course.

Sponsors

As part of a simplification of sponsorship packages for next season, and in recognition of membership as part of an individual’s relationship with the Club rather than a bundled corporate benefit, memberships are now separate to the Club’s commercial offers. Sponsors who would like to be a member of the Club are kindly reminded to purchase their memberships.

New members

Club memberships have been on hold for some months due to the ongoing consultation regarding potential private investment in the Club. It is likely that an Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) will be held during the coming season where members will be invited to vote on a switch from Community Benefit Society (CBS) ownership to private ownership. In order to protect the influence of our loyal membership base at a significant moment for the Club – if it happens – and to ensure that only those with the best interests of Banbury United FC are permitted to vote, we are applying limitations to new memberships for the 2025-26 season.

The Club will accept new members if they are nominated by a renewing 2024-25 member. 2024-25 members may nominate up to four new members each as long as they have purchased their own membership first. Members can be added at any point during the season. The cost of membership for new members is £35.

Sponsors old and new may purchase membership without being nominated. Please email info@banburyunitedfc.co.uk to arrange.

Online payment for new memberships must be made by the 2024-25 member on behalf of their nominee(s) by following this link. The new member must have a Banbury United ticketing website account in place before a membership in their name can be purchased (anyone who has bought a ticket online in the past will already have one.
