This will be the third meeting of the two sides in just eight days. Following Rushden’s 2-1 win at Hayden Road in a Southern League Premier Central game last Tuesday, the two sides battled in very wet conditions to a goalless draw at the same venue in the FA Trophy on Saturday.
There are likely to be a few familiar faces to United fans in the visiting squad as included in the Rushden team on Saturday were former United players Liam Dolman and Tom Lorraine with Jack Ashton being on the bench.
The winners of tomorrow evening’s game will be away to Stalybridge Celtic or South Shields in the next round
