Twenty-one junior teams invited to attend the Farsley Celtic NLN match on Saturday December 16th.

Banbury United FC is offering the players and coaches of Banbury United Youth, Girls and U18 Development teams a complimentary ticket to attend the team’s National League North match at home v Farsley Celtic on Saturday December 16th. With each ticket, one parent or guardian may accompany their child and enter the ground for the reduced price of £5.

“We’re really looking forward to welcoming the Banbury United Youth section and their families to the ground on December 16th where our men’s first team will meet Farsley Celtic in the Vanarama National League North,” said Ronnie Johnson, chairman of Banbury United Football Club.

“This initiative is part of efforts to build stronger links with our community and to grow our fan base. Let’s hope we attract some new faces to the ground and enjoy a great afternoon out. There are currently 21 junior teams, including our girls’ and U18 Development squads, playing locally and regionally on Saturdays and Sundays in red and gold, putting Banbury United on the map. We hope to see as many of you as possible, and to welcoming you back through the season!” concluded Johnson.

Details for coaches and parents:

• Each team manager to please email clairedumbreck@banburyunitedfc.co.uk with the name of your team, to register your team’s participation, order the correct number of tickets, and arrange collection of your batch of tickets.
• The manager of each team to distribute tickets amongst their players beforehand.
• On matchday, each junior player ticket holder will present their paper ticket at the gate. There will be a bar code and this will be scanned. Complimentary entry will only be granted to Banbury United Youth players and if they present a ticket. Tickets are not transferrable to other children or adults.
• If players would like to bring an adult, they must arrive at the gate with their adult and on presentation of the ticket, one parent or guardian will be charged £5. Adult tickets can only be bought on the gate on the night (cash or card), not online ahead of the game. Additional adults may of course enter the ground, at the full price.
• We look forward to hosting you for a special family Saturday on December 16th. The more team kit on show the better!
