We have more good news for you ahead of this afternoon's Vanarama National League North match against Curzon Ashton, with the announcement of the loan of striker, Ben Beresford, from Birmingham City.

The Under-21s player signed his first professional contract with the Blues this summer, penning a two-year deal, with a year option, having completed his scholarship. Beresford has made 18 appearances for the Birmingham U18s, scoring four goals and registering one assist. The young striker has made five appearances for Steve Spooner's side this season, four of which have come in the Professional Development League.

November 2023 delivered a loan to Gloucester City where he would compete in the Vanarama National League North. During his time with the Tigers, Beresford featured in 21 games scoring seven goals, one of which was the winner against the Puritans in a 2-1 away victory for Gloucester back in January. He’s been busy scoring goals for Gloucester in recent weeks: he was on the score sheet in a 10-goal thriller versus Boston United and scored against Warrington Town just last Saturday.
