The club are delighted to confirm the signing of Callum Reilly
Callum is a 28 year-old central midfielder who came through the Birmingham City academy, progressing through his scholarship to be awarded a professional contract and making his Football League debut for them back in 2012.
Callum made 60 Football League appearances for Birmingham but after finding himself unable to get into their starting XI in season 2014/15 he joined Burton Albion on loan in March 2015, that move becoming permanent that summer.
Spells would later follow with Football League clubs Coventry City, Bury, Gillingham, AFC Wimbledon and Leyton Orient before Callum spent the final couple of months of last season on loan from the East London club to National League side Solihull Moors. He was released by Orient at the end of last season.
Callum has made in his career a total of 214 Football League appearances, scoring 12 goals. He can also play at full back and played for the Republic of Ireland at U21 level.
We welcome Callum to the club and look forward to seeing him make his debut at Stratford on Tuesday.
