Chris Pratt submitted reports to the now defunct Banbury Advertiser for many years.

As a tribute to Chris, below follows his report on Banbury United's home game against Northampton Town in the First Round Proper of the FA Cup in November 1973 which ended in a 0-0 draw. This is the last time United reached the First Round Proper of the FA Cup - so is a fitting tribute. United went down narrowly in the replay at the County Ground on the following Thursday 3-2
