The plaque to mark Ian's 500th appearances was presented to him by then club president David Jesson.

Ian's 556 appearances for the club puts him in fourth place in the all time appearances list for Banbury United (excluding Banbury Spencer) behind only Jody McKay, Dave Matthews and Kieran Sullivan.
