The Bulls are in town

Banbury have enjoyed an unbelievable start to life in the Vanarama National League North, four games played, three wins and a draw, our third win coming away at Darlington last Saturday thanks to a Morgan Roberts brace. We currently sit 2nd in the table behind the only side to win their first four games, Kings Lynn.

Hereford have also enjoyed a good start to the season. They opened up with a 3-3 draw against Spennymoor Town, they then went on to lose 1-0 to new boys Scarborough, bounced back with a 1-0 win vs Chester and finally they beat Buxton 2-0 on Saturday. Hereford have made sixteen signings this summer and are no doubt looking to push from promotion to the National League. The pick of the bunch is forward Aaron Amadi-Holloway who spent last season playing for Burton Albion whilst also having a loan spell at Barrow in which he scored three goals.

Saturday will be yet another stern test for Andy Whing’s side, however we’ve faced many tests already this season and this team continues to impress and at times defy the odds. We’re expecting a large crowd and a lot of travelling support so please get down to the Banbury Plant Hire Community Stadium, get behind Whingy and the team and be the 12th man!

As previously advised the match is segregated. See our earlier article for spectator and ticketing arrangements
