Craig McKay has joined Mark Jones’ Banbury United side as First Team Coach. Craig has previously worked in the academies at Oxford United and Southampton.

“Craig is a young coach with plenty of enthusiasm,” enthused Mark Jones.

Craig has been fully involved in the team’s pre-season training to date and was on hand to offer his evaluation of players at the U18 Development team trials earlier this week.

Craig joins Danny Nicholls as Assistant Manager, Liam Shea as GK Coach and Analyst and Matt Haycock who completes the coaching staff, led by Manager Mark Jones.

Ben Williams was initially announced as First Team Coach, but the Club fully supported his decision to accept the role of First Team Manager at Thame United.
