We are hosting Chester FC at the Banbury Plant Hire Community Stadium this coming Saturday August 19th, kick-off 3pm, for the second home game of our National League North season. The match is sponsored by our good friends at exhibition and events specialists, Modex.
This match follows our first win of the season on Tuesday night away at Gloucester City, where, following two losses from the first two matches, we leapt from bottom of the table to 18th. With almost a complete team rebuild ahead of the new season, new manager Mark Jones is still fine-tuning his team and fans will be noticing the uplift in performance with every match, regardless of the score. The boys will be on a high after Tuesday and looking for their first win at home.
As per previous communications, this match is all-ticket, with sales closing on Friday at 3pm.
All-ticket means every spectator wishing to enter the ground must arrive with a pre-purchased ticket to present at the gate (paper or QR code on device). People without a ticket will not be able to enter the ground. The only exceptions are spectators holding Banbury United season tickets or sponsors' passes, as well as those on the VIP gate list.

Safety message & ground regulations
We are expecting a strong contingent of away supporters and, as a result, we have increased our security provision and a larger than usual police presence is expected for this segregated fixture. This complements crowd segregation work carried out at the ground over the summer.
Volunteers and security on the gates may check the correct category of ticket has been purchased and a request for ID and proof of age may be requested.
Any supporter found in the wrong area of the ground will be removed from the ground.
Please read our ground regulations…
Banbury United reserves the right to refuse admission to the ground, or to eject from the ground, any person who fails to comply with these ground regulations.
The following items are prohibited and may not be brought into the ground by spectators:- alcohol, knives, glasses or glass bottles, fireworks, smoke bombs or pyros, aerosol/gas canisters, any article likely to cause injury, any article prohibited under law, any article likely to cause annoyance to other spectators.
The following are prohibited and may not be undertaken within the ground:-
the throwing of any object within the ground without lawful authority or excuse, the chanting of anything of an indecent or racist nature, the use of threatening behaviour, foul or abusive language, the entry onto the playing area or any adjacent area to which spectators are not generally admitted without lawful authority or excuse. In addition, spectators shall comply with any request from club staff or appointed match stewards.
We wish everyone a great day. Banbury United is a community-owned, family-friendly club and we know the vast majority of home and away spectators approach their day out with this in mind. Our message to anyone looking to create or participate in a disorder is that you are not welcome here and you will be removed from the ground. Thank you.
General info
Admission prices for this match are: adults £15, concessions £11, students with ID £8, U18s £5 U11s £2.
Turnstiles will open from 1.30 pm.
Our stadium layout has changed for this season. Away fans should now enter and exit the ground via the Town End turnstiles. This is the first available right turn as you approach the stadium. Security staff will direct you.
All home supporters should enter and exit via the turnstiles at the main entrance, through the car park, by the clubhouse.
Standing and (limited) seated areas are available, with cover, as well as toilets and refreshments in both areas.
We have printed programme available at a cost of £3.
Please ensure you leave plenty of time for parking and getting into the ground. There is very limited spectator parking at the ground. It is always available for those requiring accessible parking. Spectators also cannot park on Station Approach or on Tramway Road.
We advise spectators park in the nearby Banbury Railway Station car park off Station Approach, where, thanks to the great support of Chiltern Railways, parking charges do not apply between 1300 hrs and 1830 hrs on Saturdays.
Free parking also includes Banbury Station East Car Park the multi storey car park accessed via Merton Street, the other side of the railway. Although slightly further from the ground you will be able to depart quicker from this car park after the game than from Station Approach.
