Updated Confirmed Signings for the 2012/13 season

Our Secretary was able to confirm at today's game that the paperwork has now been completed for Jack Ashton, Jason Lee, Ricky Johnson and Ryan Howell.

The following is therefore a revised list of players, so far, who have signed Southern League forms to play for the Puritans in the 2012/13 season:

No players have been released but the following are out on loan to other clubs

In addition to the above it is no secret that Adeyinka Talabi has signed but will not be able to play until international clearance is received from the Finnish FA

A number of the reserve squad players have also signed Southern League forms

For those who did not buy the programme at today's game against Tilbury, or were not able to attend there follows a little bit of information about the players mentioned above who have not played for Banbury before:

Josh O’Grady – midfielder who was with Port Vale as a youngster. Joined Daventry Town when released at the end of season 2006/07. Had a short spell with Redditch United at the start of last season before returning to Daventry.

Adam Confue – central midfielder who has played for Daventry Town since 2004 soon progressing through the reserve side to the first team

Tom Lorraine – striker who joined Daventry United from Woodford United in the summer of 2011. Scored 21 league goals for the Motormen last season.

Matt Finlay – 31 year-old goalkeeper who was on Northampton Town’s books as a youngster. Has previously played for Brackley Town, St Neots Town, Oxford City, Daventry Town, Woodford United and Wellingborough Town prior to rejoining Woodford United in November 2008.

Lynval Da Costa – 23 year-old winger who was with Kettering Town as a youngster before playing for UCL side Northampton Spencer. Started last season with Rugby Town before returning to Northampton Spencer later in the season.

Adeyinka Talabi – played last season for Kapylan Pallo, KaPa for short, who are a club based in Helsinki and playing in the third tier of Finish football.

Jason Lee – 29 year-old central defender who was with Tottenham, Aston Villa and Rushden & Diamonds as a youngster. Later with Kettering Town, Cogenhoe United and Long Buckby before joining Daventry Town in 2009.
