Please get involved in our plans

We regret to announce that, after the loss of our women’s team manager and due to a shortage of available players, Banbury United’s women's football team will be stepping out of the Thames Valley Counties League for the current season.

This difficult decision was made after carefully considering the competitive spirit of our team. We simply do not have the necessary squad depth to field a full roster at this current time.

While this is a challenging moment, we see it as an opportunity for growth and renewal. Our primary focus now is on rebuilding the team with passionate players who share our love for the game and who have an interest in playing for the Club.

We want to thank our dedicated fans, sponsors, and the community for their unwavering support during this time. We are already laying the groundwork for a comeback, and we will work tirelessly to assemble a team that represents the spirit and pride of Banbury United.

If you are a player interested in joining our journey or know someone who would be a great fit for our team, please email natalie@banburyunitedfc.co.uk.

Training is Wednesdays 7-8pm at the Banbury Plant Hire Community Stadium.

We will be organising a number of friendlies throughout the season in order to allow the players to continue playing and look forward to seeing you at one of those.

We’re confident that, with your support, we will emerge stronger and will return to the pitch ready to compete once again.

Thank you for your understanding and continued encouragement. #WeAreUnited
