United through in Southern League Cup on penalties
Banbury United are through to the Second Round of the Southern League Cup on penalties after a 1-1 draw after 90 minutes at Didcot Town
Theo Rowe put United ahead on the half hour mark with a fine strike fr
om the edge of the penalty area
However, Josh Hedges got a deserved equaliser with a quarter of an hour to go for Didcot
So after 90 minutes it was straight to penalty shoot-out to decide who would progress to Second Round
Banbury converted all five penalties and went through 5-4
Video of penalty shoot-out shows in order Tom Rowley, Jack Stevens, Ethan Johnston, Harry Reilly and Aidan Hawtin scoring their kicks. Apologies video not up to normal club standards and as you will see the video person was not quite ready for the first penalty kick by Tom Rowley
